​Actually it was an unusual case of light reflection that composed this photo.
The chromed speed lines coming out of the engine cooling vent seemed to be reflecting the sun up into their own shadow.
I completed the visual thought by placing them cleanly in the full scallop that defined the 'Vettes of this series, while highlighting that impressive copper red paint.
