Having written about the evolution of suspension design from the brass era to modern F1 I have always been impressed by the ingenious engineering and superb metal fabrication found at hot rod shows.
Often this is not only an expression of creative engineering, but of how to get an old solid front axle chassis to get the power of that modified crate motor to the ground without throwing it right off onto the shoulder of the road.
