1972 Eagle

​By this time half a dozen Eagles were fired up in the small temporary court area between all the pits waiting to move off to the hot pits. I thought I had lost much of my hearing from rock concert promotion and riding cafe bikes for a couple of decades, but it turned out I had plenty left to be stunned by the oscillating revs of those turbo Offies swirling around like some audio typhoon.
