With Group 5 coming to a close, I knew a checkered flag was waving somewhere, I thought I’d explore.
Redman is very well attended, and on the way to the tram stop I noticed the entire paddock behind Turn 5 was full. It takes a minute to refocus after motion capture images of the cars first seen on this track some, well, years ago. But turning, circling focus as it were, I saw something that seemed like droll art direction. It almost looked like a publicity shot from the boys in South Africa: A perfect long wheel base Land Rover and a Super Performance Shelby Coupe.
